I have been creating light and airy images for clients for over 13 years! My love for photography began when I was much younger. I was always the one taking pictures or videos of family or friends and have countless photos in the garage in storage bins. I feel I get my passion for capturing moments from my dad. He was always behind the video camera and almost always taking photos. Thankfully I have so many memories of my life because of him and my mom. And I will forever honor his life that ended in 2010 by this amazing job I have been blessed by. I got my first digital camera in 2011 and have been obsessed ever since. I am fun-loving, super goofy girl, who is always wanting to make people laugh by doing and saying the most random things at times. I married the man of my dreams in July 2021; making my legal name Heather Blalock but I kept my photography name Heather Smith in honor of my dad and it's easier to pronounce, haha!!. We are a blended family with three adult children and the sweetest little MinPin furbaby and live in Yucaipa, CA. I LOVE my Jesus, reading my Bible in the morning with a cup of coffee, working out, walking my dog, spending time with my family and friends, golfing, seeing and exploring God's beautiful creations. I love editing to worship music or some good country tunes. This is not just a job for me, but a passion and a God given talent that has filled my heart with so much joy that I thank Him for daily. I find it so rewarding to capture so many breathtaking moments of people in love and their beautiful growing families and have made many friendships along the way.
